The overall relocation and technological transformation project of Yibin Paper Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Yibin Paper) is a key project supervised by the Yibin Municipal Government. Yipi will be relocated from its original site in the main urban area of Yibin to Nanxi County, Yibin. After the completion of the project, Yipi will have an annual production capacity of 850000 tons of pulp and 1 million tons of paper and paperboard, becoming the largest bamboo pulp and paper enterprise in the country. Yipi is a state-owned listed enterprise, and the design, procurement, construction and other links involved in this project are all in the form of public bidding, which is supervised and implemented by the relevant departments. Our company won the bid to become the foreign trade agent of the overall relocation and technical transformation project of Yipi and signed a formal foreign trade agency agreement with it, including tax reduction and exemption, customs clearance, logistics arrangement, commodity inspection, foreign exchange payment, opening of letters of credit, financing and other related services.

This project focuses on the procurement of papermaking-related equipment. Yipi sends bid opening information to foreign manufacturers and selects suppliers by means of comprehensive bid evaluation. The equipment includes pulp production equipment, calender and shoe press, rewinder, starch and talcum powder adding equipment, etc. As a foreign trade agent of Yi Paper, our company participated in the whole business negotiation. After comprehensive evaluation in terms of price, service and technology, we finally selected to purchase pulp production equipment from Paperchine Company in the United States, calender and shoe press equipment from Gapcon Company in Germany, rewinder from Celli Company in Italy, and starch and talc powder addition equipment from ABB Company in France. As a commercial import agent, our company has signed import contracts with 4 foreign businessmen, with a total amount of US $17 million. All imported equipment began to be installed in the new plant area of Yibin Paper in Nanxi County in July 2014 and was officially put into production in December 2014.
